Legendz Casino Hands-on Review

Established in 2024, Legendz Casino is a brand-new sweepstakes casino that operates in most U.S. states and Canadian provinces.

Although Legendz is the newest sweepstakes casino to launch this year, that doesn’t mean it’s a novice to the industry. Its parent company Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) is a major player in the iGaming industry and has been around since 2008.

Since GiG already has a massive presence, it’s no surprise that Legendz Casino already has just under 100 games by developers like Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, and Hacksaw Gaming, including both slots and over 40 scratch games.

As someone who has been reviewing sweepstakes casinos for over five years, I was excited to see such a big name in iGaming launch the newest sweepstakes casino. I can’t wait to see how Legendz grows in the coming months – and to see its game library expand.

With so many of the newest titles and fan favorites already available on the site, I can imagine that it will be outplaying its competitors within a few months.

Playing on Desktop

The Legendz desktop website is streamlined and easy to navigate. Games are organized by the usual categories (new, featured, popular, etc.), but there are some new categories I haven’t seen at other sweepstakes casinos, including:

• Themes

• High Volatility

• Buy-the-Feature

• Daily Drops & Wins

It was easy to find all of my favorite titles, including Zeus Vs. Hades, Dead or Alive, and Sugar Rush. Navigating new titles was also a seamless experience.

There’s also a category of “other games” that includes crash games, Plinko, Dare2Win, HiLo, and mine games.

The only downside was that games haven’t officially “launched” yet at Legendz, so it’s not possible to see how the site runs during gameplay. Luckily, I was able to check out most of the demos for the new games on the developers’ sites and found that the gameplay was pretty good.

Playing on Mobile

Legendz doesn’t offer a sweepstakes casino app yet, though that didn’t detract from my overall experience here, as I could easily play the same games on my phone’s mobile browser.

The mobile-optimized lobby isn’t as streamlined as the one on the full website, though that wasn’t a huge issue for me.

I could still easily find all the games I wanted to play by clicking the category buttons or browsing through the games lobby.

Also, I was able to easily sign up for an account and claim my new player bonus on my phone.

Once Legendz has launched the full site and games are available to play, we’ll be updating this review to include more player experience details.

Is Legendz Casino Legit?

Based on my research, yes. Legendz Casino is owned by GiG, which is a publicly listed company on the Oslo Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stockholm.

GiG has been a major player in the online gaming industry for over a decade, first launching in 2008 as Donkr International Ltd. In 2012, it pivoted to offer solutions for sportsbooks, online casinos, and sweepstakes casinos.

It also operates several online casino and sportsbook review sites.

In addition to its massive online presence, it partners with game developers like Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, and Hacksaw Gaming – all of which only work with trusted brands.

Customer Support

As Legendz Casino just launched at the beginning of 2024, it’s still in the process of creating its customer support system.

As of writing this review, there’s only one support channel available, email support. It also has yet to launch a formal FAQ page, though there is information about its sweeps rules, terms and conditions, and player safety – all of which can be found in the homepage footer.

Self-Exclusion & Player Safety

Self-exclusion and player safety aren’t just vital information to have on hand if you feel your gaming is getting out of hand.

It took less than a minute to sign up for my new player account at Legendz Casino, making it one of the easiest signup processes at any sweepstakes casino.

Here are the steps you’ll need to take to sign up and claim your welcome bonus:

3. Enter your email address and phone number, create a password, and click “Continue”.

Legendz Casino is offering one of the best no-deposit bonus welcome offers at any sweepstakes casino.

Though it has yet to launch a first-purchase bonus, the number of FREE Sweeps you can get with the no-deposit bonus makes up for the lack of the former.

No Purchase Bonus

I was able to claim a Legendz Casino no-deposit bonus of 500 Gold Coins and 3 Free Sweepstakes Coins upon new account signup.

You can get the same bonus by clicking the “Claim Offer” button and signing up for a new player account.

At Legendz, the redemption rate is 1 SC to $1 (USD), which means the no-deposit bonus of 3 SC can be redeemed for $3, once you’ve cleared the 1x playthrough requirement and won at least 100 SC.

Overall, this is a pretty good no-purchase bonus.

The only factor that detracted from this rating was the fact that Legendz doesn’t offer a first-purchase promo yet.

First Purchase Promo

New players will be able to claim a first-purchase promo of 10% off their first Gold Coins purchase – as long as the purchase is made within one hour of registration.

Purchases

It’s not yet possible to make purchases on the Legendz website.

Yet when Gold Coin purchases officially launch, the name on your player account must match that on any payment methods you use. Legendz will offer the following payment methods:

If you use an account to purchase Gold Coins that is not in your name, your player account will be suspended.

The minimum purchase is $4.99.

Redemptions

Although it’s not yet possible to initiate a redemption at Legendz Casino, the site will eventually process redemptions using the same method used to make Gold Coin purchases.

If it’s not possible to use this method for redemptions (the card or bank account has been closed, etc.), we’ll be able to designate another bank account for cash prize redemptions.

For gift card redemptions, the prize will be sent to the email address associated with the Legendz account. If this isn’t possible (for example, you’ve changed email addresses), you’ll need to provide an alternative email address.

Legendz will offer the following redemption methods:

• ACH
• Skrill
• Prizeout 

Once redemptions are live, you’ll be able to redeem your Sweeps Coins for cash prizes or gift cards by clicking on the “Redeem” button.

Then, type in the number of Sweeps Coins you’d like to redeem and click “Redeem”. You’ll then be able to choose your redemption method.

You’ll also need to complete know-your-customer (KYC) verification before you can initiate the redemption process.

To do so, you’ll need to upload the following documents on the “Identity” tab on your account page:

• Government-issued photo ID

• Proof of address (such as a utility bill)

• Bank statement

The documentation must be dated within the last three months.

The minimum number of Sweeps Coins you need to win to trigger a redemption is 100 SC. We also assume that we’ll be able to check the status of Played Sweeps Coins and Unplayed Sweeps Coins by clicking the “Redeem” button.

Legendz states that redemptions could be approved instantly with redemption times around 24 hours.

The maximum redemption amount is 9,999 SC per day. In New York and Florida, the maximum redemption for any one play or spin is 5,000 SC.

Players in Canada will need to correctly answer a skill-based math question before a redemption will be processed.

What Games Are Offered?

Right now, Legendz Casino offers slot games and scratch games. And while it has yet to formally launch its games, there will be more than 300 games available.

The good news is that most of the games available here are by some of my favorite developers, including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, and Hacksaw Gaming.

Game return-to-player percentages (RTPs) can help you understand how many Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins you can win in gameplay with every spin.

The RTP is the theoretical return on every GC or SC played. A game with a 96.07% RTP should theoretically award 0.967 SC for every 1 SC played over time.

Legendz hasn’t yet posted any game RTPs on its title cards – and there’s a possibility that it won’t ever.

Most sweepstakes casinos don’t post game RTPs, but that doesn’t mean this information isn’t available elsewhere online.

Many of the games available at Legendz are by developers like Pragmatic Play and NetEnt, two iGaming developers that post RTPs on their websites.

Legendz Casino Review Conclusion

Based on my research and experience, it’s definitely worth it to sign up for a Legendz Casino account.

Legendz features dozens of games I haven’t seen at any other sweepstakes casino, as well as some major fan favorites, with more than 300 games available.. It also has the largest library of scratch games available that I’ve seen online.

Since this sweepstakes casino is owned by a company that is traded on two stock exchanges and has been in business for over 15 years, I felt secure handing over my personal information upon new account signup.

Once it launches purchase and prize redemptions, I plan on returning frequently – though I was happy I at least claimed the no-deposit welcome bonus now, as there’s no guarantee that this same deal will be offered again.
