FunzCity is one of the newest sweepstakes casinos in the industry -- but it did shock me with how polished it is for a new platform.

It's owned and operated by A1 Development -- the same group who owns Funzpoints -- so you know the platform is safe and secure.

FunzCity Gameplay Modes

• Standard Play Mode: Fun Coins have no redeemable value and are strictly for playing for fun. There are ample ways to earn Fun Coins including purchasing them and through promotions.

Playing on Desktop

FunzCity has a beautiful website and one that fits the eye perfectly – it’s of course modeled very similar to it’s sister sites Funzpoints – and it shows.

The website is smooth and easy to navigate. Your promotions are at the top of the page, with a rolling header of choices.

Once you scroll past the header, you’ll find the games, which are arranged by type with a unique “For You” section that selects games they believe you may find interesting. I found some of my favorite games available at FunzCity through this section—and I’m not sure how they chose them, but I did enjoy the games here.

The website looks great, but it did have some minor (and I do mean minor) issues in terms of performance. The games didn’t load as efficiently as I am used to at sweepstakes casinos, and a couple of times I lost connection to the site which would back me out of the game and force me to re-login.

This only happened once or twice in the couple of hours I spent researching the site – but it was annoying enough that I thought it was worth a mention.

Overall, this was a solid website for a new sweepstakes casino that will undoubtedly improve in the next couple of weeks, months, and years as they find they’re footing.

Playing on Mobile

The mobile site for FunzCity mirrors the desktop experience, and it does a great job transferring the content and games to mobile. And although FunzCity doesn’t offer a dedicated mobile app on Android or iOS; you can play through your devices mobile browser.

Oddly enough, I didn’t have the same performance issues on mobile as I did on desktop. I was able to easily login and wasn’t logged out until I closed the tab. The games also ran smoothly, even though some are more graphically heavy.

The site also just fits the eye better on mobile – it doesn’t feel as overwhelming and has better margins.

Even though I enjoy the big, full-screen experience of playing on desktop – overall, I would have to say that I preferred playing on mobile more. In either case, FunzCity provides a great mobile experience and one that I would reccomend you check out for yourself.

FunzCity has one of the best rewards programs I’ve seen at a sweepstakes casino, and each level has 8 different tiers within the rewards. It truly felt like the rewards didn’t stop as each time you reach a new tier – you receive a free wheel spin.

FunzCity Banking Methods Breakdown

FunzCity has unique banking options – it does include PayPal and Bank Transfer, but only for redemptions.

The only way to purchase coins is with debit or credit cards, but they do provide more package options than the majority of sweepstakes casinos.

Purchases

To put it bluntly, FunzCity lacks in its purchase methods. You can only purchase Coin packages with a Debit or Credit Card, and the only available options are Visa, Mastercard, and Discover Cards.

As long as you have a debit or credit card, you’ll be able to make a purchase and they have a ton of different options for packages.

Redemptions 

Redeeming at FunzCity is a bit of a process – especially if you’re looking to do so for cash prizes.

First you’ll need to have reach the minimum amount of sweeps coins for your redemption method. For cash prize redemptions (through Paypal or to your Visa Card); you’ll need to reach a minimum of 100 in Winnings.

You can redeem 50 in Winnings if you use ACH Transfer – however, this is generally a longer process and can take up to 3 days to process your redemptions, and another 5-7 days to reach your account.

FunzCity also offers Gift Card redemptions – which they promote can be up to 20% extra to redeem – and has a minimum redemption amount of 25 in Winnings.

What Games Are Offered?

The game selection isn’t fantastic at FunzCity – there is only about 115 games available. There is a limited about of games outside of slots – and the majority are carbon copies of each other – and only a couple of fishing games outside of that.

Slots

The majority of games offered on FunzCity are slots – and the majority of those are provided by NETGame Entertainment.

NETGame has a solid rotation of games; but they can get a bit boring. A lot of the games are very similar to each other with unimaginative paylines and similar bonuses. This was fine for me – I generally prefer simple, straightforward games as it is.

But if you’re a person who enjoys Megaways or flashy, unique slots – this may not be the site for you.

Fishing Games

Fishing Games are a new revolution in the online gaming industry and a new fun option to play. The premise is simple; you (and potentially other players) shoot fish scrolling across your screen . Every fish you eliminate awards you coins – the bigger the fish, the bigger the prizes.

Some fish games will also offer powerups and other types or rewards within the game.

These games do have a sort of skill gap – so be sure to test out using Gold Coins before hopping into play with City Coins.

FunzCity RTPs

FunzCity does not list its RTPs for the majority of its games – but since the majority of games are provided by NetGames, you can find the RTPs on their site.

Most of the games provided are on the lower side of the average RTP you’ll see at most sweepstakes casinos, with most hovering around the 96% RTP mark.

It’s a minor difference, but a ton of sweepstakes casino slots have begun to reach the 97%+ mark, so you may be giving up a small percent.

FunzCity is a new platform, but it’s operated by one of the more recongizable brands in the sweepstakes casino A1 Development.

It’s a great platform that offers a ton of promotions for existing users, a solid first purchase bonus, and one that is definitely worth a look for yourself.

The game selection is a bit lacking – and the offerings they have are a bit unimaginative – but it is a fresh look with games you won’t see everywhere else.
